How Caller and Website Information Is Handled

Magic City Roofworks connects callers with local roofing professionals in our network. This notice covers information from visiting the website and calling its number, including what is collected, which services receive it and where to send privacy requests. Magic City Roofworks does not carry out the roofing work itself.

Calls are recorded

Every call placed to the Magic City Roofworks number is recorded from connection through the end of the conversation. Continuing the conversation once connected means you agree to that recording. End the call immediately if you do not agree to being recorded.

Call information includes your phone number, details about the call, its recording and the information you choose to say. That can include your name, the location of the roofing work, the condition you describe and details about access to the property. The recording captures the conversation itself, so personal information spoken during the call becomes part of that record.

Call information is used to connect your roofing request and support the handling of the conversation. The roofing professional handling the call receives information about the request. The call-tracking platform also receives call information, including the recording and associated call details. Sharing occurs as part of operating the phone connection and handling the roofing inquiry.

You do not need an account to read the website. The website has no forms, takes no payments and collects only basic analytics about website use. Basic analytics helps show how the website is used; it is separate from the roofing details you describe in a call. There is no website form for submitting an address, uploading roof photographs or sending a roofing request.

The website uses Google Analytics 4 and Umami to measure visits. Google Analytics 4 uses cookies. We host Umami ourselves, and it sets no cookies on your device. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings or use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Many pages include an embedded Google map. Loading the map sends your IP address and browser details to Google.

Analytics and hosting services receive information involved in operating the website and measuring its use. Those services support the pages you visit. The call-tracking platform supports the telephone side of the service. Information therefore reaches different services depending on whether you browse a page or make a roofing call; the telephone conversation and a website visit involve different records.

Call recordings remain for as long as the related calls are retained. Call data is kept for as long as it is needed. There is no single fixed retention period stated here. A request about retention can identify the approximate call date and the number used so the records you mean can be distinguished from other calls.

For a call-related request, include the phone number used and an approximate date if you know them. Keep the message focused on identifying the relevant information and explaining the request.
